Really folks, Pam is kinda like George Washington. My wife and I are in the market for a new Toyota. Volvo's Powershift units have wet clutches which extends their service life anyway. Sep Ford issued an edict that they will extend trans warranties out to 5 years. I have been driving manuals for over 10 years and I will never go back. It depends on the driver. Certainly not a sports car by any means but I love the room and trunk space , the car still has enough go-go to outpace most of the cars I meet at the stoplight and I'm never afraid to pass long rows of cars with it on a rural road something I fear with a gutless automatic car.
Should You Buy a Car With a Dual-Clutch Transmission?
BTW the manual says you can ' suck up oil using an oil pump through the the oil suction pipe, but this can leave. There's no real economic advantage either way. I cleaned up the bolt and put it back. I was wondering if you could provide any insight, words of wisdom, the best way to go about getting in the trucking biz. The Jag XE's eight-speed box may only be a single-clutcher, but it's a ruddy impressive thing. Several people have joked about my "sports car"'s automatic tranny Mustang , and at first I was a little unhappy with it it was either Coupe with a manual or convertible with an auto. It's running really rough. If valve body work is not enough, you might also need more or stronger clutches. No upshifts are allowed, but you can downshift until your little heart is as happy as a dog in a leg-humping contest. Somebody mentioned here that if you get perfectly clear ATF running through the tube and then drive the car for a while it gets cloudy again pockets of dirty ATF trapped inside of the tranny.
Me thinks you have very limited experience with driving manual. I learned driving on a manual stick and have had a number of cars that were stick shift. Wait till you work on one, or two, or a hundred. But again, for the sports cars, gimme a stick. So it's simply a question of whether you want your wife wants to be shifty or shiftless. But, Volvo purists worry-ye-not.
