I hope I didn't do the same in the opposite way! It was alright at first but they started growing more and more negative and I felt like they were burdening me with their problems. The good news is, simply being aware that Facebook can harm your emotional well-being can help you keep a watchful eye on your social media activity. Now, its just taking that next step and reach out and say, "I need help" and then actually ask for it. I seem to be surrounded by a sea of people who fit this description!

This has really broken my heart even further. And I really couldnt do it on my own, and I had to anyway for a long time. The former are my greatest assets. Becoming more mindful of your passive Facebook use will reduce the amount of time you waste, which in turn can help you feel better.
